The position assumes 1 3 to 2 1 CET work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimizations to support high-performance data operations on the travel platform.
  • Architecting and developing event-driven solutions using .NET Core/.NET Framework, including message queues, event sourcing, and asynchronous processing patterns.
  • Working with both SQL Server and MongoDB to design efficient data models and queries that handle complex travel domain requirements.
  • Developing software that has been tested, integrated, and meets both yours and our high development standards.
  • Working with Product Managers/ PO and architects to estimate, plan, test, integrate, and deliver complex, scalable software.
  • Creating design documents and documentation to ensure efficient maintenance.
  • Exploring and making recommendations based on current trends, techniques, and technologies that could have a positive impact on your work.
  • Implementing Redis caching strategies (
    , cache-aside, write-through, TTL management) to reduce database load, improve API response times, and handle high read throughput for frequently accessed travel data.

Must-haves:

  • Experience with the Microsoft .NET technology stack, including .NET Framework and .NET Core, for 4+ years.
  • Expertise in complex SQL Server queries (JOINs, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).
  • Solid experience with MongoDB (aggregation pipelines, indexing, schema design).
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers (RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus).
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core and understanding of ORM performance implications.
  • Strong experience working with legacy codebases and migrating to microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud services (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, Service Bus).
  • Hands-on experience with Redis caching strategies (cache-aside, write-through, TTL).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience collaborating with PMs and architects on planning and delivery.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with Angular 1 7+ for full-stack capabilities.
  • Experience in the travel industry or with booking/reservation systems.
  • Experience building SPAs, specifically with Blazor.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
  • Exposure to version control software (GitHub preferred).
