BI Developer

Andersen is hiring a BI Developer for a project enhancing business intelligence and reporting solutions for a global hearing care retailer and supporting data-driven decisions across the Americas.

The customer is an international company specializing in healthcare products and services. It provides innovative solutions, professional support, and personalized services aimed at improving customers' quality of life. The company operates across multiple markets, focusing on technological innovation, customer satisfaction, and continuous service improvement.

The project is focused on supporting and enhancing business intelligence and analytics capabilities for a global hearing care retailer across the Americas. It includes transitioning BI workloads from Europe, maintaining and developing reporting solutions, and improving data-driven insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities:

- Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, analytics solutions and data models.

- Using SQL to extract, transform, and validate data in BigQuery.

- Supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and GitHub-based version control workflows.

- Translating business requirements into technical solutions and KPIs.

- Investigating reporting discrepancies, improving data quality, and maintaining documentation.

- Coordinating work around data-access dependencies, as internal approval processes may delay access.

Must-haves:

- Experience in BI development for 2+ years.

- Hands-on SQL experience.

- Experience with BigQuery and Power BI.

- Data modeling and reporting.

- ETL/ELT experience.

- Git/GitHub workflows.

- Data validation and troubleshooting.

- Ability to translate business requirements into analytics solutions and communicate with stakeholders.

- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice to haves:

- Experience with Google Cloud Composer.

- Experience with dbt or similar SQL-based transformation tools.

- Knowledge of Python.

- Familiarity with data governance, cloud analytics architecture, or Azure Analysis Services.
