The main objective of the Ops Manager is to manage a operations organization encompassing Mexico and Costa Rica that exhibits a culture of excellence in the provision of event services, combining efficient operational processes, consistent organizational structure and necessary levels of expertise across all activities.
Optimize staffing activities so as to increase productivity and through specialized units, ensuring the delivery of superior, differentiated services, and reduced costs.
The main responsabilities and duties include but are not limited to:
  • Map processes and operational procedures, ensuring delivery within stated terms.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Implement new technologies.
  • Manage the delivery priorities for customers together with Business Owners.
  • Scrutinize information and sign the contracts, within the allowances, with external service providers.
  • Support the team in negotiations with suppliers (hotels, airlines, car rental companies, equipment and furniture rental companies, etc) so as to offer customers the best possible quality and price options.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms agreed on between clients, suppliers, and CWT.
  • Engage and share information, suggestions and advice with the team.
  • Partner with Business Owners, engaging proactively so as to encourage the settlement of claims.
  • Periodically present operational results and analysis to the M&E Board.
  • Oversee and enforce HR policies with the team.
  • Manage performance and nurture career development opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all standards and policies.
  • Perform other related activities as needed, or at the discretion of your superior.
