The role is a part of Credit Suisse Mexico IT Front Office support and development team. Primary team focus is on-going development for local and global trading / risk systems, products integration, trading and risk management systems support.
The role will be focused on developing new features within the risk systems and the tools the trading desk use on a daily basis, helping also on the support of the same. The successful candidate will possess good development skills and experience working with large ecosystems that rely on configuration and decoupled components; the candidate should also need the ability to analyse trade flows issues, contribution and reporting issues as well as analyse risk and P&L queries raised by the trading desk. Candidate is expected to work closely with the quantitative analysts, product control, risk management and other global Credit Suisse teams to resolve/explain issues and queries.
The candidate is expected to:

Understand the current applications and business processes, identify extensions and new functionality.
Embrace interaction with business groups (e.g. traders, quantitative analysts, product control)

Education & Professional Qualifications:
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Finance

Essential technical requirements:
Object oriented programming experience
Design patterns development experience
Working knowledge of software programming languages (one or more of: C#, SQL, Oracle, Python)

Software development patterns and methodologies knowledge and tools hands-on experience
Financial markets and products knowledge (FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives)
General understanding of financial models, cashflow and products pricing
Understanding of financial risks (market, credit - DV01, CS01, VaR, etc.) and methods of calculation (analytical/numerical)
