Currently we have an open position for a Resident Engineer – Electrical Systems in our Toluca Assembly Plant
· Fluent English write/read/talk 85%
· Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial /Mechatronic Engineering
· Experience Minimum 5 years related Electrical/Electronic Systems (links, communication and circuits/harnesses)
· Kaizen methodology knowledge
· Manufacturing Quality Systems knowledge (ISO/Lean)
· 3 years of related experience in Electrical/Electronic Systems in the Manufacturing Auto Industry
· Green Belt / Kepner Tregoe
The Corporate Quality organization is currently seeking a highly skilled, solutions - oriented Quality Engineer to join the Corporate Quality --Engineering Team. The selected individual reports to the Plant Quality Manager/Engineering and Corporate Quality Responsible; he will have experience in managing cross-functionally and possess a broad knowledge of the entire automotive engineering, manufacturing, and quality landscape. The candidate must be a high-energy, hands-on individual with strength of convictions. Organized into cross-functional teams, it's a unique FCA division consisting of manufacturing, engineering, and supplier quality department members who work together to solve product quality issues and reduce warranty claims to improve customer satisfaction. The specific responsibilities of the role are: 1) Managing the resolution of Electrical/Electronic engineering/design issues associated with current or future vehicle design, build and testing 2) Driving a disciplined approach to the problem solving and root cause analysis Developing and establishing third party targets (Consumer Reports, Perceived Quality, JD Powers) 3) Work closely with production unit leaders to stratify and eliminate quality/design issues on the plant floor 4) Corporate Quality - Engineering point of contact 5) Strong communication skills to support meetings at all levels 6) Commitment and dedication in delivering a premier product to the consumer Representing the "Voice of the Customer" to the production/assembly teams 7)Contributing or drive team success by clarifying expectation and minimizing political hurdles Demonstrating unwavering commitment to delivering results and champion achievements, 8) Exhibiting a willingness to do things differently and consistently translate ideas into actions that deliver results Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment.
