Warehouse Supervisor

Position Responsibilities: Oversees and/or perform site wide receipts, shipments, controls, supply and storage activities related to Raw, WIP, Finish Goods, consignment and MRO materials. Responsible for the physical and systems integrity of the plant wide inventories. Owner of the execution and discipline of the process and procedures related to the physical and transactional movements of parts (receiving, shipping, cycle count, storage, returns etc). Responsible for the overall supply chain flow of materials from the suppliers to the customers. Leads the CTR initiatives for the plant.

• Responsible to hire, train and supervise employees for the successful start-up of a manufacturing plant.
• Responsible to supply material on time and with the right parts to production to support the daily production plans.
• Responsible to reach and maintain the target plant inventory accuracy.
• Responsible to consolidate the total inventory value and DOS reports for the plant and follow on the actions plans to reduce it. Responsible for the systems and physical integrity of the inventory.
• Responsible for performing the plant physical inventory
• Responsible for the packaging and labeling process.
• Responsible for the on time and accurate shipment of parts to our customers.
• Manage the consignment inventory integrity and transactions.
• Define and controls the material flow between the two warehouses and the plant following the Kanban System Approach.
• Responsible of fast response root cause analysis.
• Responsible / participate in the Kaizen Culture sharing knowledge.
• Facilitate a continuous improvement culture by installing Plan, Do, Check, Act methodology.
• Maintain and verify ``control point`` functionality for in-house logistics by processing and monitoring transactions overseeing materials flow.
• Responsible for planning and implementing activities, policies and procedures related to material control functions.
• Establishes and drives stores performance measures.
• Create and implement a premium transportation program, tracking spend and improving beyond internal targets

 Technical Skills / Experience Requirements: An expert on materials storage and handling processes and tools. Has extensive experience on maintaining and improving the inventory accuracy. Successful experience on leading large and multidisciplinary teams to meet objectives. Have extensive knowledge of lean and six sigma tools to execute high impact projects on the supply chain management process.

Competencies:

• Minimum of 3-5 years successful, proven track record within production planning, warehouse management and improvement projects. 
• BS in Industrial/Systems Engineering/Business Administration/Supply Chain or related. Masters Degree preferred.
• Experience on developing Kanban and lean systems.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP, Supply chain management and inventory control systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to speak English (80%) and Spanish
• Six Sigma lean/Green-belt (preferred) or Black Belt /Lean expert (preferred).
• Strong experience on warehouse and materials flow design.
• Key user on SAP for Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules.
