PTC Alliance is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow and develop the sales function of its North America Tubular Products Operations in the Monterrey, Mexico area. PTC Alliance would prefer that the candidate be currently physically located and have gained experience in the Monterrey, Mexico area. There is no relocation allowance with this position; only candidates from the Monterrey, Mexico area will be considered. The candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish. The incumbent will be the primary point of contact for customers and will serve to interface between the production facilities and the customers. The Territory Sales Representative will communicate the customer needs, requirements and problems to the appropriate company facility. This position will investigate customer problems and complaints and notifies the customers of the actions being taken to correct those problems. The Territory Sales Representative will work with the management teams at the various facilities to ensure and coordinate the needs of specific customers to get an appropriate and timely response to inquiries.
The Territory Sales Representative is expected to assess customer needs and develop appropriate programs to augment the Corporate Sales position with customers and enhance our value to the customer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, following up on customer inquiries, developing new accounts and leads, offering creative solutions to identify problems and developing competitive pricing based upon market information for any and all designated accounts. In addition, this position will quote prices and delivery dates to potential customers, initiate credit checks and resolve discrepancies between order inquiry and order confirmation as well as invoice issues.
Responsibilities will also include supporting the scheduling, production and shipment of orders for specific customers while responding effectively to inquiries to expedite orders as necessary. The candidate must have previous sales experience in the metals industry and will be expected to travel a large portion of the time. This position will report directly to the Product Manager.
