Position Overview: Overall supply chain responsibilities include: transportation and logistics, inventory management, warehouse management, and development of new supply chains as line extensions or new product development warrants.

Principal Accountabilities  Contributes to the development of yearly business plans and budgets by developing Supply Chain operating plans and participating in the overall strategy formulation process  Take active role in the development and deployment of supply chain and commercial projects that will create additional value for our business unit.  Provide guideline, couching and direction to a team of 5 logistics and transportation employees (Not direct supervision).  Define methods to monitor all inbound and outbound transportation activities, solve problems, improve costs, maximize utilization and reduce demurrage.  Freight rate analysis to determine competitive advantages and disadvantages related to established markets and new opportunities.  Supervise the proper application of inbound and outbound shipment rates to control freight bills.  Supervise, monitor and negotiate freight claims with carriers in a timely manner to minimize loss  Oversee the compliance of our safety and regulatory procedures, as they relate to transportation, to comply with legal guidelines  Negotiate rates and service level agreements with transportation and logistics vendors  Works closely with commercial, financial, operational and legal departments.  Collaborate with corporate supply chain and transportation functions

REQUIRED: • Bachelors Degree required (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Operations, technical degree is preferred) • Areas of focus being deep customer insight, pursue and reinforce collaboration, valuing differences, motivate for high performance, optimistic, resilient, curious and adaptable and nimble • Demonstrated creative, innovative and strategic thinking • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills • Advance experience in MS Office • Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain management and logistics • Understanding of financial and basic accounting principles • Fluent in English
