Role summary:

Bring support to partners with marketing groups and other business leaders to design web and editorial strategies as part of an integrated strategic marketing/communications plan that delivers measurable benefits to the organization

Provide editorial support to Mercer LOBs in the creation of a variety of marketing materials, including perspectives, flyers, newsletters, webcasts and other promotional collateral. Is also responsible for the maintenance and timely updating of mercer.com sites.

Collaborate with regional marketing colleagues on the alignment and implementation of global and regional plans to web initiatives. Liaises between writers, editors, internal clients and providers for marketing communications projects

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of marketing communications and broad exercise of quality control over contents of documents
  • Substantial experience in the use of the Web for online marketing as well as excellent writing skills
  • Experienced in web design and the ability and desire to keep up to date with current trends and developments in the online world
  • Experienced in working under pressure and to tight deadlines, with the ability to handle several tasks at once
  • Excellent command of English
  • Self-sufficient and an effective problem solver
  • Degree educated, ideally with an appropriate qualification in communications and impeccable grammar
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Planning and project management skills, with a proven track record of getting things done
  • Self-starter who will create and implement marketing initiatives, ideas and plans
