Responsibilities
The GE Environmental Services production facility in Aguascalientes, MX manufactures synthetic and fiberglass filter bags for the Air Pollution Control industry.
*Direct supervision of 50+ hourly employees, Environmental, Health, and Safety excellence as measure by Illness and Injury rates, Days Away From Work rates, framework scores, training completion, and audit item closures.
*Leadership of plant housekeeping and lean manufacturing initiatives, services levels as measured by on-time shipments and past dues.
*Inventory levels and accuracy, productivity as measured by labor efficiency improvements and implementation of cost out projects.
*Quality as measured by scrap levels and first pass yield.
Qualifications
*BS in Industurial, Mechanical, Mechanical-Electrical or similar engineering.
*5 years prior manufacturing supervision experience, high volume assembly experience preferred.
*Bilingual English/Spanish.
*Good computer skills.
*Proven leadership skills, hands on leadership style.
Desired
*Green Belt Certification.
