This position is the Plant Manager for the Eaton Corporation, Electrical Sector - Americas Power Distribution plant in Juarez, MX.
The Juarez plant is part of the Commercial Products Division that designs and produces dry type transformers, assemblies, and switching products. The plant is a large operation with approximately 1,200 employees currently.
A. Provide leadership, direction and manage all Plant operations to include manufacturing, operational excellence, finance, materials, engineering, quality, EHS and human resources. B. Develop and implement suitable short and long range plans to obtain assigned Plant and group objectives such as the profit plan, strategic plan, human resource organizational capability plan and forecasts based on customer expectations, and committing to achieving established targets. C. Coordinate and direct through subordinate managers, all functions of facility operations, including but not limited to manufacturing, asset utilization, inventory control, facilities control, building lay-out and construction, maintenance, manufacturing projects and studies, cost control, manpower utilization, work standards and administration. D. Responsible for contributing to the development of all plant policies, consistent with the direction of the overall Eaton organization. E. Review, maintain, control, implement corrective action and regularly report on the financial progress of the plant within the assigned group to maintain profit plan expectations and insure incremental /decremental performance. F. Direct responsibility to develop and achieve the annual business plan G. Maintains a strong legacy of advancing the Eaton Business System H. Foster an environment of Employee Engagement I. Ensure that Eaton policies, practices and initiatives are implemented and followed J. Ensure compliance with all government, financial, environmental and labor regulations is required K. Represent Eaton in local organizations and community service activities. L. Serves as a key business partner and decision maker in the Division M. Drives sales margins, customer satisfaction, cost of quality, inventory, productivity, organizational development and other operational metrics of the facility.
Basic Qualifications: o Bachelor's degree in business administration, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering is required o 7 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or related environment
Position Criteria: o Administrative knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure analysis, and wage and salary administration o Significant knowledge of the Eaton Business System and/or other contemporary business and manufacturing practices and processes o Experience in methods and strategic industrial engineering practices o Proven track record of building organizational capability and commitment to employee development
Preferred Qualifications: o An MBA or master's degree in the field of business, engineering or related field.
