Primary responsibilities:

  • marketing analyst supporting the areas such as (msp, happ, etc), m&a activity, ba/ga oems, ba/ga operators, ba/ga service center network, channel management
  • support and analysis for all strategy and marketing processes such as rmu prioritization, trade shows, channel analysis, strategic planning, website content
  • drives analysis for strategy and marketing including:  transforming data from qfd identification, customer strategic voc to drive segmentation, channel strategy development, growth strategy development, identification and prioritization of growth opportunities including services and acquisitions
  • strategy and marketing analysis and support for proposal development and value proposition articulation
  • supports strategic planning activities as they pertain to growth, customers and channel strategies
  • support for customer event coordination and execution with marketing and product management
  • provides customer and competitive intelligence input and analysis
  • supports website content management for bga

 

position complexity:

marketing skill requirements include strong analytical (excel, access) and communication skills. strong technical writing and analysis skills required for business case and customer value proposition development. strong cross functional and matrix influence skills required.  relationships include

•Linkage to customer business teams, bga sales, linkage to engineering leaders and customer and product support leaders, , competitive and business intelligence and rmu prioritization, link to inside sales/technical support and industry associations (nbaa, aea, ebaa, azbaa, etc)

key success factors: (specific expectations during next 6-18 months):

  • growth of services offerings, including m&a
  • strategic planning analysis
  • channel analysis and recommendations to support channel partner growth metrics
  • customer analysis to support customer business teams
  • development of prioritization process for rmus
  • website content and accuracy
  • competitive intelligence / market research

attributes/skills required:

•good written and verbal communications skills in english and spanish

•very strong marketing analysis skillsets (ms excel and ms access)

•strong presentation development and presentation skills (ms powerpoint and ms word)

•strong program management skills

•strong it background

•some  knowledge of technology areas specific to products, systems and services in area of responsibility

•ability to work in teams across functions and channels (oem, aftermarket, rmu)

•professional presence and ability to communicate at all levels inside the company and the industry

•understanding of value proposition articulation for products, systems and services

•knowledge of channels and channel partners

• ability to travel both domestically in latin america and internationally

 

experience/education preferred:

•bs or ba in engineering, finance or other relevant discipline. advanced degree (ms or mba) preferred.

•3+ years in engineering, sales, marketing or finance discipline in aviation or similar industry.

•some experience in the aviation industry

•breadth of experience with aerospace products (mechanical and electronics) and aftermarket services.

•results focused with successful record of accomplishments through skilled use of influence, persuasion, negotiation, and problem resolution.

•effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

•excellent team building and membership skills,
