Services are provided by the member firms or their subsidiaries or affiliates and not by the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Verein.  Market Intelligence Manager- Energy Industry in Latin America The Market Intelligence (MI) Manager will play a key role in the firm's understanding of energy organizations in Latin America by designing and developing market intelligence presentations and deliverables that facilitate business development.  Deliverables will include prospect profiles and market studies , which integrate information from primary and secondary sources, client service professionals, and sales and marketing managers.  These presentations and deliverables are designed to provide partners and the Business Development organization a competitive edge in developing proposals, attaining new business, retaining and expanding current services, and making organizational/business decisions.  Location in U.S. is flexible. This position will play a critical role in the development, presentation, and implementation of cohesive analyses of markets, prospects, and competitors.  The MI manager interacts with all levels of the Energy practice organization to ensure the creation of accurate, effective and quality presentations.  This position will require occasional travel to attend offsite meetings and/or training sessions with National Competitive and Market Intelligence group.   Duties and Responsibilities:  - Prepare written and oral presentations on prospects, markets, and competitor activities for key client service practitioners and the Business Development organization to support their efforts to win business;    - Leverage industry-accepted analytical frameworks to perform data analysis that allows for the creation of forward-looking and extrapolative insights; - Create visually compelling presentations that simplify the communication of complex information and enhance comprehension; - Conduct research on specific energy topics and issues, and translate market and regulatory trends into opportunities and threats for the firm; - Attend trade shows and conferences with executives from the oil & gas and power & utilities industries to elicit information about regulatory, policy, and strategic changes and to develop and nurture an external network of contacts to support marketplace analysis; - Identify internal and external information sources, build effective working relationships with subject matter experts within the firm and the external marketplace, and conduct effective interviews; - Build relationships and credibility with internal clients in the Latin American marketplace by demonstrating consultative skills that generate demand for projects that are aligned with firm and sector priorities; - Identify research requirements for the Energy practice and integrate vendor-provided elements, third-party interviews, and publicly available information in research projects.  This involves conceptualizing contract work that supports projects; ensuring deliverables and qualitative measures are clearly established with vendor, monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions as required to ensure deliverables arrive on time and within budget. Qualifications and Requirements:  - To qualify for this position you must have superior writing, analytical, consultative, presentation, and project management skills.  - Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based programs necessary.   - A Master's in Business Administration
