  • Bachelor’s degree is required. A major in Business Administration or Sciences is preferred 
  • MBA is a plus 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales or commercial sales within the healthcare industry are required 
  • Knowledge of plastic surgery market is highly desirable
  • Supervision experience is highly desirable
  • Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
  • Ability to make formal presentations of technical information to a technical audience
  • Previous experience developing/managing indirect channel (distributors) is required
  • Ability to establish positive interpersonal relations and interact with people effectively, work effectively under time pressure and make accurate and assertive decisions accordingly 
  • Demonstrate strong analysis, numerical acuity, negotiation and problem-solving skills 
  • Proactive, organized, and resourceful, maintain accountability for his/her actions and make good judgment in the performance of his/her duties 
  • Availability to travel approx. 30% throughout the country is required 

Major Responsibilities

  • Management responsibility for Mentor business in the Mexican territory 
  • Responsible for accomplishing the targeted sales in line with Franchise’s strategic Direction, through the development of sales strategies and the supervision and support provided to distributors and their sales force 
  • Analyze key performance indicators and financial reports such as budget, commercial policy, price, net sales, and investment level, and suggest improvements
  • Responsible for distributor management and development 
  • Identify and capture underachieving markets and business opportunities 
  • Evaluate potential new indirect/direct channel alternatives and develop plans for existing ones
  • Evaluate new and existing indirect channels, ensure appropriate training is provided (technical, commercial, compliance, etc) and provide input for financial analyses (credit limits, etc)
  • Plan and follow up sales activities of Distributors Sales Representatives 
  • Define and monitor sales quotas and investment quotas per distributor based on Business Plan, financial criteria, historic trends and future projections 
  • Accompany Sales Representatives of distributors to fieldwork; provide support on negotiation, process improvement, creativity in selling techniques and technical aspects of products 
  • Create selling strategies, action plans and follow up on its implementation 
  • Revise and adjust Rolling Forecast with logistics to determine imports (purchases of product) 
  • Meet continuously with Distributors’ owners and Sales Representatives to follow up on activities, analyze competitor practices, identify possible negotiation opportunities, design action plans and take corrective actions when needed 
  • Monitor changes and trends of healthcare industry
  • Implement regional marketing and professional education strategies in Mexico with collaboration of Business Unit Manager and Regional Marketing Team
  • Develop extensive professional education events with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) 
  • Support new product launch activities. Provide support on the coordination of Professional Educational activities
