Responsibilities

This position is responsible for employee performance and engagement and for the end to end Learning experience in Mexico and Argentina. In addition to site leadership responsibilities, this position has Global Relationship responsibility, interfacing with assigned business process(es) to define global learning requirements and develop the learning strategy for the specific business process(es).

Responsible for leading a team of Learning professionals in Mexico and Argentina, the incumbent will be accountable for building and leveraging relationships and delivering on the Learning needs. Although site-focused, this position is part of a global Learning network and, as such, will be engaged in global projects, sharing and implementing best practices, working towards a global and consistent approach to Training and driving continuous improvement in the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of Training.

Key accountablities:

 Consult with business partners to assess, recommend, prioritize and implement learning solutions
 Manage learning resource utilization, aligning resources to meet business priorities, using Capacity Management models
 Leverage VOC channels and business input to identify quality and customer issues, inform Training/ Knowledge Management decisions and take action to resolve (incorporating into new hire and upskill training)
 Monitor post-training performance in order to continually improve
CCP speed to competency, productivity curve and business impact (i.e. Training Effectiveness)
 Coach and develop local and remote team members into Learning professionals, driving enhanced employee engagement and outcomes
 Manage business partner relationships across the markets and facilitate sharing of key Learning metrics and results
 Drive innovation & change to improve efficiencies, effectiveness of Learning solutions

 Required Qualifications

 Prior professional experience in training design and delivery, including understanding of adult learning principles, using best practices in design & delivery and learning technologies to drive performance, is strongly preferred
 Exceptional people leader with proven experience developing, managing and motivating team members; experience leading remotely across multiple locations is preferred
 Must be self-motivated and have a strong passion for Learning
 Excellent communication skills and ability to foster strong working relationships and influence at all levels within the organization
 Strong ability to effectively navigate through a global, matrix environment
 Highly effective at decision making, workload prioritization and project management
 Highly effective at problem analysis and resolution
 Ability to act as change agent and proven experience in driving implementation of strategies and solutions to accelerate continued evolution of World Service Learning to a world-class Learning organization
 University graduate or equivalent combination of education and business experience
