Business Operations Lead

University Degree: MSc, Ph.D. / PharmD - Biomedical sciences

•Project Management at BS/MSc or MBA level

• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with strong business experience in budgets and resource forecasting
• Thorough knowledge of the regulatory system for the approval and conduct of clinical trials in the country
• Deep knowledge of GCP and country regulations concerning clinical trials
•Strong experience with vendor relationships preferred such as preparation of purchase orders, vendor selection, contract negotiation, conflict resolution, etc.
•Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and coordinate activities with others.
•Well-developed planning, observation, analytical and problem-solving skills
•Ability to effectively manage a matrix team and promote collaboration in the organization
•Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to persuade, negotiate, and moderate conflict
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with senior management and other levels within an organization
•Knowledge and understanding of relevant IT applications, and demonstrated capacity to train others in the use of those applications
•Project management, resource management (staff and financial), administrative, and technical capabilities are required, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills in relating to colleagues and associates both inside and outside the organization
•Experience in the creation, tracking, and reporting of metrics and key performance indicators

Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to provide country level business and trial administration support, including budget management, sourcing, metrics, reporting, and communication. The Business Operations Lead will lead key organizational initiatives in support of the attainment of the country vision and mission and will ensure that business and trial processes are developed, maintained, and coordinated for the delivery of high quality, cost effective clinical trials in line with scientific, commercial, and regulatory requirements.
