Work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in web application development.
• Experience with E-Commerce or Content Management Systems.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on various web content
(Static pages, dynamic pages, applications, rich media such as flash) without
intensive training needed.
• Create comprehensive test plans.
• Report clearly written and detailed errors in a bug reporting system.
• Understanding of version control techniques (CVS, Subversion, etc.)
• Experience testing with various web browsers (Internet Explorer 6 & 7, FireFox,
Safari, etc), along with solid knowledge of web browser quirks and functionality.
• Knowledge of Internet technologies, such as: HTML, PHP, CSS and JavaScript.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a team player, but able to work independently.
Job Requirements
In order to be successful in this position, candidates must possess at least two years
experience as a web content QA Engineer or equivalent. The successful candidate will
likely meet most of the following requirements:
• Four-year College or technical degree in related field or equivalent work
experience.
• Previous QA work experience in related field.
• Familiarity with related web software and plug-in downloads
• Excellent working knowledge and experience with web browser behaviors, that
include:
o Security Settings
o Web page encoding types
o Cookies and Caching
o Javascript
o HTML
o XML
o CSS
