Description

The candidate will primarily assist with Mexico tax compliance and provision along with regional transfer pricing processes. The goal for this position is for it to eventually expand to include other countries in the Latin American region. Candidate will also be involved with the implementation of a new tax provision software and the development of new processes, controls, policies and procedures around the new software for the Latin American region. Will require frequent communication with finance and tax personnel in the U.S. as well as with those located in other Latin American locations. Will also provide support for other Tax Dept projects as needed.

Qualifications

Candidate will have, at a minimum, Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 6-10 years of tax experience in public accounting or industry. The individual will possess a good understanding of basic accounting, U.S. and Latin Amercian tax and tax accounting principals with strong focus on FAS 109 and FIN 48. He or she must demonstrate strong analytical, organization, inter-personal and resource management skills. Additionally, must have strong computer skills. Tax Stream, Oracle and Hyperion skills. CPA certification.
