Position Description
The Human Resources Team Leader is an HR generalist position responsible for providing generalist HR support for the facility. This position will play a lead role for key employee and labor relations matters, HR policy implementation, HR data integrity for client information in SAP system, HR programs, process design and delivery aligned with HR strategy contributing to organizational capability, and special projects related to the HR agenda. The role requires significant 'customer first' business partner orientation, ability to work independently, influence at a senior level to effectively manage multiple priorities and ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality. Additionally, and most importantly, the role will serve as a steward of the organizational behaviors helping to shape our culture.

Duties include:

1. Employee/Labor Relations - this role acts independently in fact finding, analyzing, assessing and recommending actions for the majority of all employee relations. This role requires the ability to facilitate and effectively influence, provide recommendations, administer corrective action, and work collaboratively to find a solution. Provide counsel to employees and/or supervisors, managing the involvement with legal and other departments when appropriate. Partner with plant management to actively and effectively manage the relationship with the union. Assist with labor negotiations.

2. Implement HR Policy and Practice - Respond to inquiries from employees and supervisors regarding HR policy and practice.

3.3. Organization Capability â€" Identify gaps in knowledge and skill sets and partner with your business customers to build a tailored training plan that will help strengthen the organization. This includes but is not limited to ensuring training material is well prepared, received, and understood for practical application. This position is also responsible for talent management. This will require working with other HR teams and colleagues and having sound understanding of customer groups' business challenges and learning styles.


Position Requirements
**Candidates must have ability to read and write English. Resumes must be submitted in English for review.

Bachelor's degree required.

A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources generalist experience is required, preferably supporting a Manufacturing environment.

Must have plant start up experience. Heavy employee relations experience, including experience with unions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to capture detail, communicate accurately and concisely, verbal and written.

Intermediate proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs and SAP.
