Plant Manager (Automotive Industry)

Based: Apodaca, Nuevo Leon

The Company:

Chronos Consulting's client is a premier supplier for the global automotive industry with full capabilities in powertrain design, development, testing and manufacturing and are currently searching for a Plant Manager to form part of their organization.

The role:

The Plant Manager is a proven leader who will, through the utilization of clear direction and clear measurables, capitalize on the technical knowledge and assets of the team in place and run a profitable plant.

He should  have a solid knowledge of OEM requirements with a proven track record of successful launch activities. Managed and driven Profit and Loss metrics and made presentations to senior leadership regarding capital expenditures in their previous roles. Has a very strong business acumen that supports the challenges in high volume, low margin manufacturing.

Will lead, in compliance with minimal policies and procedures established by the Company, an autonomous operating unit which adheres to the Company Employee's Charter and other Company.

Should bring a significant systems and process philosophy; and experience with plant consolidations, restructuring, and turnaround activities.

The person:

You possess:

A Bachelor's Degree(s) in Engineering, Business and/or Tool & Die Certification or equivalent.

A Minimum 12+ years experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred) as a Senior Manager with demonstrated leadership, communication, presentation, and organizational skills

Practical experience in metal forming, precision assembly, and or die casting.

Ability to relate, communicate, motivate and inspire people at all levels of the organization. Collaborative, active listener and team player.

Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.

Fluent Spanish and English is required.
