unit, has a great opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer in Guadalajara,
Mexico.

 This position will be
focused on monitoring the compliance of our PCBA and systems supplier to JDSU's
general and product-specific quality requirements. JDSU requirements include:

• Quality Management System
compliance

• Development task
compliance

• DFX reviews

• Test

• Training programs

• Manufacturing plans

• Production task
requirements

• Procurement controls

• Part inspection
development and execution

• Part handling and
moisture controls

• Manufacturing controls

• Inspections and Tests

• Data recording, analysis
and reporting

• Preventive and corrective
management

Monitoring tasks will
include attendance and oversight in supplier defect review and corrective
action meetings, change process oversight, supplier data report and data
analysis reviews, and formal process and product audits and inspections.

 To apply for
this opportunity, you should possess the following:

- Min. 5 yrs. experience in
Quality Engineering or directly related field

- Knowledge of basic
statistical concepts, design for quality and reliability concepts, reliability
testing, PCBA technology, PCBA and system test and inspection, PCBA and system
defect reduction, and data collection systems, internal auditing

- Hands-on experience in
supporting and leading quality improvement programs in the supply chain and the
manufacturing environment

- Hands-on experience with
quality inspection and defect reduction programs associated with PCBAs and
Box-builds

- Ability to communicate
effectively in writing and verbally with peers, suppliers, and management in
both English and Spanish

- ASQ certification in
Quality or Reliability a plus

- BS degree in engineering
or science required
