The Role

We are currently looking for Network Consulting Engineers to support the Global Service Practice in Mexico.  You will be responsible to support both Routing and Switching as well as Unified Communications and Voice technologies.

• Typically reports to Mgr, Advanced Services with a team lead setting goals and providing work direction.
• Interfaces and works closely with others in a team environment to achieve common goals. Ability to technically manage small projects sections of large, complex projects. Be able to multi-task.

Your Skills

• Internetworking troubleshooting experience. Good analytical skills and ability to debug network issues.
• Ability to leverage technical expertise of others.
• Performs analysis and diagnosis of complex networking problems & network designs
• Generates reusable Intellectual Capital in the form of standard customer deliverables.
• Leverages and contributes to Virtual Teams.
• Questions ways of working and suggests improvements.
• Reviews network requirements and High Level Design.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex customer network problems across a broad range of technologies.
• Independently coordinates and executes tasks.
• Solid understanding of business process and requirements.

Routing and Switching NCE typically requires BE,B.tech, 3-7 years experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment. Advanced degree strongly preferred. CCNP required (Routers & Switches – 2 Papers ). CCIE written is a plus.

The UC/Voice NCE role requires as strong understanding of telephony dial plan design and call routing/control protocols such as H.323, MGCP, Skinny Call Control Protocol (SCCP), SIP, Q.SIG, E&M, ISDN PRI, FXO, FXS, PLAR, POTS, CAS. Also requires a strong knowledge of IP-Based PBX/VOIP Technologies (Cisco/Avaya/Nortel). Strong design and architectural experience in designing Unified Communications solutions using Cisco Unified CallManager is required. Preferred knowledge in two or more Cisco voice applications such as Cisco Unity/Unity Connection, CUE/CME, SRST, Meeting Place, Cisco Emergency Responder, IPCC, and IPCC Express.
Typically requires BE  or equivalent plus 4-6 years related technical experience.
