Responsible for leading, and participating in testing technical project(s) throughout the development and implementation phase; lead and participate in activities related to consulting with end users to determine the scope and objectives of proposed programs or program enhancements, assisting with identifying requirements utilizing end user feedback; participate in the activities involved in the quality resolution of issues or concerns related to system testing and end user issues following through to completion and communicating resolution results to development team; coordinate, prioritize, and participate in activities associated with completing assigned projects or project task(s), following from beginning to end, ensuring accomplishment of defined goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Either an Associate's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field or a Programming Certificate from a recognized institution is required. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.


 


Minimum three years experience in business operations with an emphasis on testing or process/procedural documentation required. Minimum one year lead experience preferred.


 


Minimum two years programming experience using a standard coding language (e.g., Java, C, C++, HTML, PERL, SQL, Visual Basic, COBOL, etc.) is required


OR


Minimum two years experience with a testing tool platform (e.g., Mercury Quality Center, Test Director, Empirix Hammer, etc.) is required


 


One year experience with Hammer Technologies or other stress/performance testing tools test case scenarios preferred


  


Other


Intermediate knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word required


Oracle or Informix certification preferred


Basic knowledge of Visio preferred


Quality Assurance certification from an accredited organization is preferred
