Number one provider of equity, fixed income, and hedge fund indices, and equity portfolio analysis tools is searching for a Network Administrator located in its new office in Monterrey, Mexico.
The role will support and manage technology needs for Business, Finance, Information Technology and Operations staff located in Monterrey and the United States. The nature of the work is technical and business oriented, providing day-to-day administration of remote and local infrastructure, as well as support to the users. The successful candidate will possess a high level of customer service skills and display an eagerness to apply technology to drive this growing business forward. This position will work as part of a global infrastructure team and report to the Americas West Data Center Manager, located in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Network administration for WAN, LAN, and multiple DMZ’s
• Remote device and environmental management of data center infrastructure located in US, Europe and Asia
• Travel periodically to US datacenters for installations, routine maintenance and upgrades
• Provide backup to individual performing Unix/Linux Administration
• Given the critical nature of our business, this person will carry a mobile 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
Infrequently the candidate will be required to come into the office after normal working hours to perform system
maintenance. This also may include weekends or bank holidays.

Experience

• 7+ years professional experience with Networks and Linux/Sun distributed enterprise environments
• Network topologies, BGP, EIGRP/OSPF peers and route topology, IPSEC VPN, HSRP, Routing and L2/L3
Switching
• Cisco 7206VXR/7200/3600/2600/2500 routers, Cisco Catalyst 6509/6506/6504/3750/2900 switches, Cisco PIX
525/515E Firewalls, Cisco IOS, Cisco CatOS, Cisco voice routers.
• Red Hat Linux Enterprise 3.X and higher
• Sun Solaris (2.6 to 10) and Sun SPARC Hardware (Sun Fires and Enterprise Series)
• Cisco VOIP Voice Infrastructure Systems (including call manager, Cisco 4500 switches, etc.)
