Responsibilities

The ES Information Delivery Project Manager will be responsible for the timely delivery of project deliverables and will be responsible for complying with GE Energy development standards, the successful candidate will understand and utilize GE Project Management Methodologies (PMM) and Six Sigma (DMAIC and DFSS) rigor to meet deliverables. This position requires a strong understanding of Data Warehousing/BI concepts to drive overall BI direction and reporting/analytics systems convergence/simplification across the Sales, Commercial Operations, Manufacturing, Field Service, and Customer Service organizations across the ES business.



Responsible for:

* Project planning, budget & resource management

* Manage daily project activities, issue resolution & communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on time, on budget & as requested by our business clients.

* Identify critical path decisions, makes recommendations & influences program leaders & business process owners to maximize project payback

* Effectively engage global teams, Shared Services, TSG & CoEs to create & propose technology designs, standards & solutions with high impact to the business

* Partner with business leaders and users to identify BI requirements and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions for reporting/analytics

* Partner with BI CoE to create and communicate data warehousing / BI strategies to T&D business.

* Project Manage development of full life cycle data warehouse solutions to include architecture and deliverables, which includes contract resource engagement and detailed team WBS in accordance with overall project plans

* Manage the technical requirements, identify and resolves issues, monitor overall issue prioritization, progress tracking, and resolution

* Participate in creation and management of technical test and cutover plans

* Serve as the primary interface for change control and COE coordination



Qualifications

BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.

Minimum of 5 years experience in business systems analysis and support including working with all aspects of the systems development life cycle (requirements through implementation).

Minimum 2 years experience managing data warehouse projects

Strong oral and written communication skills

Green Belt of Black Belt certified for internal candidates
