We are seeking high motivated Accounting and Financial Professionals with the following experience:

Responsible for leading all country-specific activities including but not limited to: Balance Carry Forward, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, BCF/Compliance/SOX Testing, Data Collection, Financial Report Preparation, Inter-company Processing, Inter-company Reconciliations, Journal Entry Posting/Allocations, Journal Entry Posting/Approvals, Journal Entry Prep and Posting, Other General Accounting Activities, Report Generation and Distribution, Support to Business Unit Finance, Tax Report Preparation, Fixed Assets, Manual Billing, Bad Debt, and VAT, Inventory Accounting, Bank & Cash, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Contract Accounting, Alliance Accounting, New Accounting Policies Implementation, Maintenance of Insurance Policies, Sanofi, and Management. Additionally, the Chief Country Accountant may be responsible for non-General Accounting activities to include: AP/T&E, Fleet, Treasury and Payroll.

 Requirements:

• Experience working in Peru with advanced knowledge of Peru's statutory, tax and regulatory environment.


• Qualified candidates must possess a BS/BA degree in accounting, finance or business. CPA/MBA, Big 4 experience a plus.


• Minimum 5 years experience in a global and/or multi divisional finance organization.


• Minimum 3 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry


• Advance knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS (if applicable).


• Previous management experience (manager, director, above).


• High degree of computer literacy with a major ERP system knowledge BPCS finance experience preferred.


• Strong supervisory skills.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Proven decision making/problem solving capability


• Team and customer orientation with a strong emphasis on providing quality.


• Native language of Spanish; fluency in English.


• Open to travel internationally.
