Essential Functions :

• Efficiently manage distributor in Costa Rica providing them with all inside resources needed to achieve sales forecasts.


• Be able to align distributor to company objectives. Integrity comply of the distributor is critical.


• Manage volume and revenue growth for the Performance and Polymers territory in accordance with business plan.


• Be able to understand the Central American market dynamics (ie: Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador,etc).


• Be able to work with different cultures.


• Provide accurate sales forecasts.


• Develop and implement market high margin growth strategy.


• Understand competitors strengths/weaknesses in the area and incorporate in territory strategy


• Key success factors include ability to identify and close new business, networking, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.


• Strong growth focus with incentive provides for achievement of goals

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelors Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering)


• 3-5 years Commercial Experience, in plastics or related industries


• Excellent communication and ability to close new business (Negotiation Skills )


• Team Player Position


• Will require intensive travel to Central America as required by customers


• Fluent in English


• Diverse Culture Mindset

Qualifications preferred:

• Distributor handling-interacting or similar experience in the past


• International Logistics understanding (Different Incoterms Definitions)
