Responsibilities

GE Energy needs Field Sales Application Engineer to complement our Inside Sales Group, will be responsible for supporting sales efforts by way of technical application of air pollution control products to be conducting during field visits to client locations. The Field Sales Application Engineer will be giving seminars to costumers. It is critical that the candidate is solution-oriented, customer service focused and Clear Technical Thinker to develop proactive, strategic relationships. The candidate will work as a customer technical advisor.Uncovering new opportunities for GE Energy in a variety of industries such as Cement, Steel and Consumer Products. This position is ideal for engineers with industrial process experience that are Bilingual (Spanish/English). This position will be based in a major metropolitan area in Mexico



Qualifications

*Bachelors' degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.*Ability to Read, Write and Speak Spanish and English fluently*Former Work Experience in Industrial Processes (5 years as min)*Excellent written and verbal communication skills*Have the ability to Travel 80% of the time Internationally


Desired

*Green Belt/Black Belt certification (GE Employees Only). *Strong work ethic. *Experience in Industrial Dry Filtration, Cement and Metals plant operation or maintenance.* Experience with Dust Collectors and Electrostatic precipitators (Operation & Maintenance) is a Plus.*Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office. *Initiative to "own your own job." *Proven ability in creative problem solving*Experience in Industrial Dry Filtration, Cement and Metals plant operation
