Responsibilities

* To be responsible of the tax compliance of some GE companies, including the review of the preparation of all the tax returns and calculations

* To be involved with the tax compliance and planning of the biggest GE businesses (CF, Real Estate)

* To develop and manage good relationships with the financial people of the businesses

* To manage and solve tax related items regarding day-to-day activities of the businesses in conjunction with corporate tax team

* To develop and manage good relationships with the auditors of the companies

* Managing of part of the tax CoE team

* In charge of important tax CoE special projects (legal entities reduction, quality control program, etc)

* Participation in the tax planning with the tax corporate team

* To avoid any tax contingency

* Reviewing of tax consolidation

Qualifications

* BS in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

* 8-12 years of tax experience

* CPA certified or MBA

* Experience of audit & tax process, ability to work with external auditors and tax advisors

* Strong technical tax knowledge

* Strong knowledge of tax Compliance issues, including all regulatory compliance environment

* Strong analytical and influencing skills, detail oriented, independent thinking and decision-making abilities

* Communication skills / bilingual (English/Spanish)

* Experience leading & managing a team

* Project management / Execution skills
