HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Company Description
John Crane, an international technological leader in the mechanical seals industry is seeking a strong and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead a 200 employee manufacturing facility in Mexico, D.F. The role will serve as an integral business partner to foster future growth.
General Function
Plan, direct and manage the processes that attract, retain and develop talent within the organization in order to achieve strategic objectives. Establish policies and procedures that will support all functional areas. Apply best practices that strengthen the culture, which ensures the development of all employees. Create an ethical and healthy work environment that supports the mission of the company.
Responsibilities
HRM must be a strategic partner by supporting policies and procedures that attract, retain and develop personnel
Design strategies to enable employee development in order to increase personal and organizational effectiveness
Manage all functional HR areas, including payroll, training, recruitment, health and safety, performance management, and labor relations
Administer labor relations in order to maintain good relations between union and management employees. Negotiate labor contracts
Provide compensation consulting in order to maintain internal and external equity with market conditions
Ensure that all salary and benefit payments meet legal requirements
Administer the health and safety concerns of all employees
Knowledge of recruiting Mechanical Engineers and CNC Operators
Experienced in developing and implementing plans to lower employee turnover
Skilled in labor communications throughout business, including U.S. executive team and local management
Demonstrate ethical conduct in resolving challenging issues
Qualifications
Strong fluency in English speech and writing
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, Masters preferred
Minimum 5 years of Human Resources supervisory experience
Travel to United States
Microsoft Office
