  Subscribing callers to the service or product they call in interested about.

  Helping them answer questions about their bill, or about the product/service they have.

  Technical support.

  Identifying customer needs (and sales opportunities), offering upgrades or related products the customer could find of value.

  Helping customers make payment arrangements, and bring their accounts up to date.
