Responsible for:-
- Identifying new prospects by generating self leads and following up on customer enquiries via marketing campaigns
- Identifying business issues and ‘pain points' and handling customer objections with the interest of closing the deal.
- Research into different niche markets by scouting for new opportunities
- Maintain relationship with existing customers by up selling on software and expanding into different areas of the company
- Liaise with the technical consultants to prepare and discuss customer presentation demo's on products tailored towards the industry sector
- Accurate forecasting to management team with sales leads, customers orders using sales force.
- Keeping abreast with the industry and technology by attending seminars and conferences whilst seeking new opportunities
- Self sufficient by managing own daily, weekly activity and reporting on a weekly basis
Requirements:-
- Direct sales experience with a proven track record of selling IT / software solutions
- Experience of selling into engineering, manufacturing would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience of identifying business issues, qualifying, objection handling, negotiation and closing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present presentations to senior members
- Personality - highly sales driven, a real go getter, energetic, resilient, intelligent, patiently tenacious
- Self managing skills - accountable, responsible and self sufficient, multi-tasker
- Team player by liaison with the technical consultants and other colleagues
- A university degree would be beneficial but not essential as an excellent sales history is preference.
