Security - Solution Architect

Technical resource with expertise in identity management and security software, and a skill set that includes MS Active Directory, Federated Services, SAML, and .NET.

This individual will need to be able to work independently as he/she will be the primary resource on a security project and will be asked to design, develop, test and trouble shoot the solution. The candidate will work closely with architects, infrastructure engineers, Line IT technologists, and project managers to ensure the viability, performance and efficiency of existing mid-tier systems including all of the underlying infrastructure, software and application components.

Job Duties:

• Architect, design, configure and deploy SSO solutions based on the .NET, CoreID and other solutions from MS, Oracle, IBM and leading vendors.


• Provide technical leadership for solutions in identity management, access management, provisioning and connectors, role based access control, risk based authentication, enterprise single sign-on solutions, compliance management and reporting.


• Deployment includes (but not limited to) installation, policy development, configuration, custom development, integration, testing, technical and operational documentation, support and maintenance.


• Architect and design for RSA Infrastructure and other strong multi-factor authentication solutions.


• Architect, design, configure and deploy directory services (LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory).


• Provide advice and guidance on the latest standards and trends.

Experience/Skills:

• Federated Services, SAML, Active Directory, ASP.NET


• Commercial experience designing and building Internet host/network services including but not limited to: Web servers (http, SSL, Apache, Tomcat, IPlanet, etc.), Application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, etc), Databases (DB2 /MS SQL Server) and Java/.Net technologies


• Proficiency in LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory directories and be able to provide directory design and implementation service.


• Possess a strong understanding in the latest standards and trends, such as SPML, SAML, and Open ID


• Ability to perform complex work requiring broad technical knowledge


• Experience with Web Services Management


• Proficient in working in Windows server environments or UNIX


• Experience in the analysis and design of large scale, load balanced, high-transaction technology systems


• Solid understanding in Networks, Firewalls, Routers, IP Filters, reverse proxy, and DMZ setting
