We have immediate openings for 8 Plant Operators in Oman with MVC or thermal concentration or thermal desalination experience.   If you have the following experience please respond with a current resume in word doc. and your availability.

The plant operator is responsible to ensure stable and reliable process control of the MVC and to train and mentor Company Operators. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Compliance with all health, environmental and safety policies of the Company.
  
  
  • Provides training and coaching of Company plant operators
  
  
  • Monitor the daily plant and equipment performance.
  
  
  • Assist in preparation of daily operations reports.
  
  
  • Responsible for directing the start-up and shutdown of the plant including such activities as hot standby and drain down with consultation from Team Lead.
  
  
  • Will report the any abnormal conditions and performance degradation to Team Lead.
  
  
  • Report maintenance requirements to Team Lead.
  
  
  • Supervise safe handling of chemicals including unloading and transfers.
  
  
  • Direct collection of water samples.
  
  
  • Participate in maintaining accurate standard operating procedures and train Company's operators.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

•  
  
  
  
  • MVC or thermal concentration or thermal desalination experience required with both evaporators and balance of plant equipment
  
  
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose equipment and process defects and enact solutions
  
  
  • Experience working with SCADA control systems to confirm, optimize, or modify operating parameters.
  
  
  
  

This is a long term contract in Oman, day rates are open, accommodations and fights provided, and 28/28 rotation.
