Responsibilities

*Assist in the preparation of PIC's by: 1) inputting financial information into KMV, 2) suggesting potential deal structure and 3) identifying key issues.*

Analyze financial statements of prospective customers to detect potential risks and structure transactions in order to meet customer needs and satisfy GE CF´s risk parameters.*

Lead due diligence process involving all areas (customer, origination, audit, appraisal, environmental, portfolio management, legal, operations and collections) involved in the credit approval process. Review, summarize and utilize findings / results for the underwriting.*

Lead / Manage customer relationships effectively during the underwriting process and keep Origination Team appropriately involved as needed.*

Prepare pitch, present findings to an internal credit committee and provide strong support for credit recommendations.*

Follow KYC procedures (credit bureau search, external agency reports, black list search, etc.) and obtain adequate documentation of searches.*

After a transaction is approved, coordinate the production of legal documentation together with the Legal Area. Review all legal documentation to ensure that the transactions and their collateral / guarantees are adequately structured, with proper covenants and documentation. Negotiate documents with customers and make changes to the structure / documents as needed, document changes and obtain adequate.

Review and analyze prospective customers' quantitative (financial statements, projections, etc.) and qualitative (market and industry analysis, main competitors, etc.) information to prepare a comprehensive underwriting package that provides strong support for conclusions regarding credit approval, participate in the structuring of transactions, lead the due diligence and documentation processes and monitor the performance of transactions after closing.



Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree & MBA/Masters in Finance Required, 4+ years of credit experience.

* Previous Commercial Lending Experience / Proven Existing Lending-Authority is a plus

* Fully bilingual English / Spanish, bi-cultural is a plus

* Strong interpersonal, team building and negotiation skills

* Strong organizational skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills / Highly developed presentation skills

* Excellent overall analytical skills / Outstanding Financial Analysis Skills

* Strong Mexican/US Legal-Framework knowledge

* Demonstrated Leadership Skills
