Understanding the main principles of the Demand Supply Network, including roles
and responsibilities of players in the Demand Supply Network. Understanding DSN
execution in practice, respecting Total Product Offering and new business
requirements with special focus on total cost understanding.
Account Logistics Management
Ability to lead logistics operations performance in account team and customer
interface both from financial and efficiency and demand supply chain quality
point of view.
Cost Analysis and Management
Understands the cause and effect of costs in Demand Supply Network, current cost
structures and uses cost-benefit analysis/cost driver analysis. Challenges
current solutions towards finding most cost efficient solutions, and takes into
account and balancing the performance, quality and price. Recognizes cost
inefficiencies and productivity improvement opportunities. Benchmarks
performance and prices. Has knowledge of price levels globally in a given
industry or product area.
Business understanding
Understanding of key business and technology drivers as well as future (trade)
customers, suppliers and market trends with special attention to consumer and
competitor. Understanding of decisions affecting profit and loss, business
planning, target setting and metrics management and how to work in matrix
organization
Service Excellence
Ability to make internal/external customers feel an experience of excellence by
using efficiently processes and tools, applying skills and experience and the
appropriate behaviour when dealing with the customer. Understanding of customer
needs and willingness to proactively fullfill them while ensuring fast response
and a high quality in delivering the service
Logistics Proces. & SC Functions
Being able to understand the operational logics behind main supply chain
functions and logistics processes. Have an overall knowledge of basic
operational processes as sourcing & purchasing distribution, inventory
management, operations, sales and forecasting. Understand the in relations
between supply chain functions and the cross-functional character of logistics
processes.
Logistics partner management
Ability to build relationship based on trust with external organizations which
add value to NSN business. Ability to create win-win business cases based on
core / context analysis and understanding of the external company´s
business and strategy. Understanding of LSP performance management (including
target setting, bonus/penalty programs, quarterly reviews, regular follw-ups),
project management of LSP development projects, contract
