Responsibilities

The main objective of the Legal Specialist position is to provide legal advice and transactional support to the Company to fulfill and meet its business goals and objectives, while making sure that all the legal and compliance requirements are observed. The Legal Specialist is responsible for participating in the design and implementation of legal strategies, management of litigation, and the legal review and negotiation of contracts, agreements and instruments.



1. Provide legal advice and support to the Sales and Risk areas, as well as to the other functional areas of the Company, including without limitation: (a)The preparation, review and negotiation of financing contracts and agreements, as well as other collateral agreements and guaranties; (b)The issue of internal legal opinions and/or the procurement of legal opinions from outside counsel; (c)The interpretation of the law; and (d)The legal training to the business and functional areas of the Company.

2. Eventually, coordinate activities with outside counsel and notaries, serving as a liaison between outside counsel and notaries and the Sales, Risks and other functional areas of the Company.

3. Define, along with the Flow Business Legal Head, the strategies in respect of litigation initiated by or against the Company, coordinating activities and actions with outside litigation counsel.

4. Evaluate legal risks affecting the Company, taking actions in such regard.

5. Participate in lean of processes, as well as in any other simplification and/or growth projects.



Qualifications

The candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. A solid academic background (good judgment) and previous work experience is required. The candidate has to be continuously demonstrating a proactive and an ingenious attitude in the solution of multiple and complex problems. The candidate has to be an open, committed and independent person (edge and drive). It is essential that the candidate is an ethical person, both professionally and personally. The candidate has to show the ability to work in teams and under constant pressure.
