Responsibilities

* HR Leader will act as a partner with the Plant Manager to effectively deliver Human Resources services to the plant and ensure alignment of HR strategy with key business objectives.

* Responsible to provide HR guidance on matters such as organizational design and development, recruiting, succession planning, employee relations practices, development, Session C & compensation planning, employee communications and performance management.

* Promote  and  ensure  compliance  with  agreed  HR  policies  and  practice  in  line  with  principles  of  GE  controllership. 

* Proactively partner with managers to provide strategic advice and counsel in addressing employee and organizational issues.

* Develop and implement HR programs and processes to enable strategic growth of the business.

* Manage  employee  data  and  track  metrics  for  HR  dashboard  (turnover,  diversity,  retention,  staffing  cycle  time,  etc.).

* Maintaining HR Oracle database, ensuring highest standards of completeness and accuracy.

* Support Recruitment by posting jobs and managing responses to candidates.

* Coordinate and pay invoices on internal system.

* Administer various elements of the HR processes: staffing documentation, OHR, data entry, GE Shares, etc.

* Participate in special projects for the region and the business.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology.

* 3 years of Human Resources related expirience including employee relations, compensation & benefits performance management and recruiting & staffing.

* Excellent communication skills and strong communication skills in English.

* Union relations experience.

* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.

* Adaptable, must show abilty to remain open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, unexpected circumstances.


Desired

* Previous experience in HR Generalist or Manager capacity.

* Masters degree in HR, Business Admin or related field.
