Responsibilities

* Responsible for all Sourcing metrics at the Motors and Component manufacturing sites in Brazil and Mexico - GEVISA, Contagem and GEIMM

* Identify and lead the implementation of deflation projects at GEVISA, Contagem and GEIMM. Work with cross function team to ensure each site meets material costs take out (MCTO) target

* Work with site materials group and direct material buyers to manage supplier deliveries ensuring zero misses and reduced inventory

* Help drive key sourcing initiatives such as purchase centralization, supplier rationalization and increase low cost region purchases

* Help drive the elimination of site sole sources



Qualifications

* Four-year college degree required

* Professional edge and demonstrated ability to make tough decision

* Able to energize and influence cross functional teams utilizing strong communications skills

* Able to interface with global sourcing leaders and key business leaders

* Strong analytical skills

* A self-starter with demonstrated ability to develop and execute plans

* Six Sigma certified


Desired

* Prior sourcing experience

* Motors and Components product knowledge

* Masters degree in mechanical engineering or business administration
