Overview
3-5+ years of hands-on experience with complex testing tasks requiring planning, scheduling, and testing to assure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards. Thorough knowledge on various automation tools for functional, regression and integration testing. Capable of maturing automation tools and processes with onsite and off-site resources. Communicates with business analysts, application developers, project managers and solution managers on product issues. Operates under minimal supervision. Reports to the Software Quality Assurance Manager.

• Ability to map functional requirements to test cases - map traceability
• Strong Skills in performing functional, regression and integration testing on multi-tiered web-based applications (Authentication, Entitlement, Reporting)
• Deliver Test Plans, Test Cases and Final Sign-Off Deliverables on Projects
• Creation, Maintenance and Training of automation tests for functional testers
• Coordination with local and offshore Test teams on test projects and work distribution

Technical Skills
• Internet Explorer/Netscape Browsers
• Microsoft Office - Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Access/Visio
• Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of Rational Robot, XDE Tester, Test Manager, ClearQuest tools
• Knowledge of Compuware QADirector, TestPartner and TrackRecord tools
• Basic Database debugging skills (MSSQL)
Education and Typical Years of Experience:May require a bachelorâ€^TMs degree in area of specialty and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
