The Senior Software Performance Tester (SSPT) has comprehensive knowledge of and can apply different testing types (white box, black box, regression, requirements, etc.), focus testing areas (unit, functional, system, customer/user acceptance) test implementations (manual, automated, and performance), and testing practices and methodologies throughout the whole software / infrastructure development and production support processes. This candidate is able to concentrate on validation of developed application code on the right side of the Quality "V" model, is capable of leading the whole test automation effort to validate the quality of a software product (planning, designing and implementation of testing) and/or hardware upgrade, and will create and administer training courses relating to test automation. This individual will mentor and assist in establishing objectives for Software Performance Testers. Education and Typical Years of Experience:BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering preferred

5-7 years of hands-on experience with automated performance simulation tools
5-7 years of hands-on experience with LoadRunner, including all monitoring capabilities
Experience in performance testing of enterprise software products, preferably 5+ years in SAP or People Soft.

Knowledge and working experience with Unix/Linux OS monitoring commands
Knowledge and working experience with OpenView MeasureWare
Knowledge and working experience with Windows Performance Monitor
Proven experience with programming in Java, Perl, PHP, and ASP is a plus
Experience with 3-tier e-commerce server side applications using EJBs (Enterprise Java Beans) or other component architectures such as CORBA, DCOM, etc), Servlet, XML, SQL, etc. Specific experience with WebSphere is a big plus (or other application servers like WebLogic, JBoss, TomCat, etc.)
Demonstrable skills in algorithm development and problem solving

Exceptional oral and written communication skills with proven track record to drive performance test efforts to completion
Outstanding attention to detail
Must understand n-tier systems from an architectural perspective

General knowledge of HR processes
